The start of a new year is always full of expectation - In our personal lives we must suddenly lose weight, join a gym, be more organised, pledge to spend more time with family and friends, the list is endless.
At work we set new targets, review our strategies, overhaul every company policy and generally try to attack everything with a new sense of vigor for a few weeks at least (must be all the extra energy from the diet and the workouts!)
But is there actually business value to be found in these age old habits, and if so how do we capitalise on it?
We think there is - by taking the opportunity to get some fresh ideas from your team when they could be feeling their most enthused and also relaxed (hopefully) after a festive break.
This isn’t the time for ripping up your existing plan and strategy and we aren’t suggesting to use January to fix something that isn’t broken - but we do think this is the perfect time to get your team together in a workshop format to think about the last few months, and the next few.
